TOP MEDIA POWERHOUSES JOIN FORCES WITH GLOBAL BRAND FORUM AND MEDIA PRIMA TO POWER MALAYSIAN BRANDS


Petaling Jaya, 9 October 2008 – The Global Brand Forum’s debut in Malaysia will see an explosively unique partnership among leading media powerhouses in the country as they join forces for the larger objective of raising the brand consciousness of Malaysian businessmen and marketeers to compete in the global arena.

Presented by Media Prima, the Global Brand Forum Malaysia will see this significant and extraordinary collaboration with the New Straits Times, The Star, The Edge, The Malaysian Reserve and Astro Awani, who will use the event and insights from the speakers with the nation.

“The time is right for Malaysia to wake up and create their own brands, strong enough to draw investments into the nation that are globally competitive, and branding them to become a force of global icons in the international marketplace, “said Karthik Siva, Chairman of the Global Brand Forum.

They will take centre stage when the Global Brand Forum comes to Kuala Lumpur from 4 to 5 December 2008. Themed “Creating Leader Brands”, the Global Brand Forum Malaysia 2008 is the ideal platform where for the very first time, Malaysian corporations will able to hear in person from these luminaries on how brands can be built, sustained and more importantly create value for stakeholders.

It will take place at the Palace of The Golden Horses and tickets are priced at RM4, 800 (nett) although early bird purchasers will enjoy a RM500.00 discount, while it will be just RM4, 000 (nett) per person for group purchases.
